Paper Doll Book

Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co. has a new line of Paper Dolls! We are featuring the new Paper Doll Sets on the MFP Blog (http://marksfinestpapers.blogspot.com) and on MFPSpeedyTV.ning.com through January 18th.  Some of the projects will feature tutorials, too! You will be surprised and delighted by some of the designers’ projects. From traditional paper dolls to scrapbook pages to creative tags and cards, the ideas are endless! Be sure to visit the MFP Blog and/or Speedy TV each day to see a new and beautiful paper doll project.

One of my projects is being featured on the MFP Blog today.  It is a book of paper dolls, which I made using my Bind-It-All.  I made the cover blending several of MFP sets (Paper Doll, Spring Things, Tree Selections, Scenic Selections, Fabulous Dogs).  The title was computer generated.

The doll was stamped on heavy-weight card stock (MFP Premium Heavy White, 140-pound).

The first page of each set of clothing was colored using Copic markers.  These images come in the same stamp set as the paper doll.

The second page of each set was paper-pieced.  I removed the tennis balls on the tennis dresses on this page, so that the outfits could be used for something other than tennis.

These two pages feature images from the set Paper Doll Out and About.

And finally, these two pages feature images from the set Paper Doll Formal Wear.

Even though there are no little girls in my life who could play with these dolls, I had a fun time with these sets. Be sure to check out the Blog Hop next week when these sets are featured.  And our Paper Doll Madness extends until January 18th, so you should be able to get lots of fun ideas for using them.
